No matter what you cut, thanks to its hardness, olive wood is almost insensitive to cuts and scratches. The high oil content of the wood also has an antibacterial effect. This cutting board with a lot of character can very well be used as a daily cutting board in the kitchen. But it is also wonderfully suited as a rustic snack board. The unusual thing about this board is that an attempt was made to preserve the original growth of the olive tree as much as possible.
Care is easy: clean under running water and rub in a little olive oil from time to time, then the olive wood will retain its warmth and powerful grain.
